On November 17 Feinberg hosted its second annual Art Fair in the Simpson Querrey Biomedical Research Center atrium. The event was organized by second-year medical students Kevin Chen, Sandra Ojeaboru and Reyna Patel, with support from the Student Senate, the Augusta Webster, MD, Office of Medical Education and the Department of Medical Education. The fair showcased more than 20 contributors and included paintings, drawings, fabric crafts and photography. Organizers emphasized revealing undisclosed artistic talents, capturing interdisciplinary narratives and creating a space of appreciation. Patel and Chen described inspiration from last year’s fair; Chen cited his college art studies and the value of integrating art into medical training.
