"Proceeds from the gala will benefit The Players Foundation for Theatre Education and The Players Preservation Fund, the two organizations that support the mission of The Players. Founded in 1888 by actor Edwin Booth (for whom the Booth Theatre is named), The Players has remained a fixture of the Broadway and Off-Broadway world for the last 137 years. It was designated a National Historic Landmark in 1963."
The Players in Gramercy Park will host Sculpting Our Love of Theatre, a benefit gala concert on November 3 at 7:30 PM. The performance will feature Tony winner Bonnie Milligan (Kimberly Akimbo), Amber Iman (Lempicka), Conrad Ricamora (Oh, Mary!), Alyse Alan Louis (Disaster!), and Jelani Alladin (Frozen).
