coachella 2025 art installations embrace movement, illusion, and the ephemeral
Briefly

Coachella 2025 features a vibrant array of kinetic sculptures, light installations, and architectural works that engage festivalgoers beyond mere observation. Curated by Public Art Company and Paul Clemente, the art embraces elements like wind and sunlight, creating an interactive environment. Noteworthy installations include Stephanie Lin's Taffy, which consists of cylindrical towers that shimmer with changing light, and Isabel + Helen Studio’s Take Flight, resembling 19th-century flying machines. Together, they provide reflective spaces amidst the festival's energetic atmosphere, encouraging participants to immerse in the artwork as part of their overall experience.
This year's installations, curated by Public Art Company (PAC) in collaboration with longtime Goldenvoice Art Director Paul Clemente, present a high-stakes pas de deux with the elements.
A standout art installation at Coachella 2025 is Taffy by Stephanie Lin, a mesmerizing work which continues to blur the line between sculpture and environment.
