The Center for Craft is accepting applications for the 2026 Craft Archive Fellowship, providing four $5,000 awards to support research on underrepresented craft histories in the United States. The fellowship welcomes emerging and established scholars, independent researchers, and artist researchers to conduct archival research on feminist, intersectional, queer, Black, Indigenous, Latinx, Asian American, Pacific Islander, and other nondominant craft histories. Fellows engage in conventional and innovative archival research, with results published as a special feature in Hyperallergic and presented in a virtual program in September 2027. Three fellowships are named after Ayumi Horie, Sara Clugage, and the Gallaher Family. An information session occurs virtually on April 7, 2026, with applications due May 20, 2026.
