Brandon Aguilar began painting at the start of the COVID-19 pandemic and earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Sam Houston State University. He developed a unique approach by abandoning traditional brushes and using found materials to paint, creating more meaningful impact in his work. For Houston Texans portraits he cuts footballs along the seams and uses the pigskin as a painting tool, producing detailed results that impressed quarterback C.J. Stroud. Aguilar aims to inspire others to develop their own styles. He teaches 7th and 8th-grade art, focusing on painting, sculpture, and ceramics to prepare students for their dreams.
