Daniel Wenger and Rachel Wetzler will serve as co-editors and the editor-in-chief title will be eliminated. Over 700 writers agreed to boycott the publication following a statement from Penske Media declaring opposition to Palestine. Rivers Ryan crossed the picket line by accepting the role. The resignation follows a longer history of ethical failures, including sexual harassment allegations against former publisher Knight Landesman and a 2021 settlement. Artforum was acquired by Penske Media Corporation in 2022.
