Ansel Elgort will make his professional dance debut in Quadrophenia, A Rock Ballet, performing the role of "The Godfather." The production is based on The Who's 1973 album written by Pete Townshend. Choreography for the staging is by Paul Roberts and direction is by Rob Ashford. Elgort trained in ballet and performed in musicals at performing arts school and previously danced in the film West Side Story. Rising star Paris Fitzpatrick will play the lead role of Jimmy. Quadrophenia will run for four performances at New York City Center from November 14 to 16.
