The seven new job titles that AI created, from Claude Evangelist to Chief AI Officer

AI adoption is reshaping organizational structures by creating new job categories even as it eliminates the roles they replace. Hiring spans both traditional intellectual disciplines and new work generated by generative AI coding tools, including roles such as philosophy-focused hires and “vibe coder” positions. Between these extremes are forward deployed engineers, AI accelerators, evangelists, gig workers who train models, and new C-suite roles focused on ensuring company-wide AI use.
