"In September, Anthropic initially launched its Memory feature exclusively for enterprise customers. Now, the company is also expanding access to all paid subscribers, including Pro and Max plans, which cost $20 and $100 to $200, respectively. The plans also include access to other AI features such as Web Search, Voice Mode, Research, and Claude Code. If you have been holding out on a subscription, keep reading to find out if the Memory feature makes it worth it for you."
Anthropic made the Memory feature available to Pro and Max subscribers, expanding access beyond enterprise-only customers. Memory enables Claude models (Opus 4.1, Sonnet 4.5, and Haiku 4.5) to retain context from previous conversations so users do not have to repeat details. Personal information saved to Memory, such as a 15-pound Yorkie, allows the assistant to answer follow-up questions about playtime or diet without re-stating the pet's weight. Pro and Max subscriptions cost roughly $20 and $100–$200 and also include Web Search, Voice Mode, Research, and Claude Code. The Memory feature aims to make interactions more intuitive and productive by drawing a throughline across conversations and reducing the need for repeated prompting.
