New Gemini features are coming to Google Workspace

Google rolled out beta updates integrating Gemini across Docs, Sheets, Slides, and Drive to address moments when users abandon Workspace for other tools. The core feature, "Help me create" in Docs, allows users to describe what they need in plain language while Gemini pulls relevant information from files, Gmail, and Drive to produce initial drafts. Additional editing modes include "Match writing style" for tone consistency and "Match doc format" for structural application. In Sheets, Gemini achieved a 70.48% success rate on SpreadsheetBench, a public benchmark for real-world spreadsheet tasks. These updates roll out to Google AI Ultra and Pro subscribers in English worldwide for Docs, Sheets, and Slides, with Drive features initially limited to the US.
