Motive launched AI Dashcam Plus, a commercial-vehicle intelligence device that uses driving analytics and fast on-device AI to detect and respond to risks in real time. The device includes stereo vision, three times more compute, hands-free communication, and can run more than 30 AI models simultaneously on a Qualcomm Dragonwing QCS6490 processor. The Android-based architecture supports two-way calling, voice control, secure audio and connectivity, and over-the-air AI model updates to avoid frequent hardware refreshes. The system aims to reduce false alerts, lower latency, expand detection of unsafe behaviours, and enable proactive collision prevention for fleet operators.
