The jury heard testimony from Musk, Altman, and Satya Nadella of Microsoft, which Musk accused of participating. Musk’s claims against Microsoft were dismissed as a matter of law based on the jury’s findings on the claims against OpenAI. OpenAI was founded in 2015, and Musk left in 2018 after co-founders denied him control.
