The warehouse management market is growing about 12 percent annually, creating a strong commercial opportunity. IFS is pursuing that opportunity through partnerships with robotics vendors such as Boston Dynamics and 1X Technologies and by acquiring Softeon to deepen warehouse expertise. Legacy warehouse systems remain largely manual and paper-based, while the combination of AI agents and robotics aims to automate order picking, reduce manual labor, and provide real-time operational insight. Earlier moves include acquiring TheLoops for agentic AI and partnering with Anthropic for industrial AI. The combined IFS–Softeon approach targets fully autonomous warehouse orchestration using digital workers and collaborative robots.
