Google is rolling out an AI-powered practice feature inside Google Translate that generates tailored listening and speaking sessions adapting to a user's skill level and learning goals. The practice mode supports beginners and advanced speakers by offering customized scenarios where users listen to conversations and tap heard words for comprehension or practice speaking with progress tracking. The beta is available on Android and iOS for English speakers learning Spanish and French, and for Spanish, French, and Portuguese speakers learning English. Google Translate also expands live translate with back-and-forth audio and on-screen translations across more than 70 languages for real-time conversations.
