Anduril is launching an "AI Grand Prix," a global open-invitation autonomous drone racing competition where teams submit Python-based autonomy algorithms. Virtual qualification phases run April–June with simulation-based races; top performers advance to a two-week in-person training and qualification in Southern California in September. Finalists will compete in Ohio for a $500,000 prize pool split among the top ten teams; the highest-scoring individual may bypass the usual recruiting process and interview directly with hiring managers for open roles. Participation is open to individuals, university teams, and research organizations without professional credentials; passion for AI programming is required.
