The service exposes checkpoints across pre-trained, mid-trained, and post-trained stages so users can integrate data where required. This approach reduces the financial and technical burden of building frontier models while delivering bespoke models that understand specific business knowledge and domains. Improved baseline understanding increases the effectiveness of post-training fine-tuning and future upgrades. Finished models, referred to as Novellas, can be imported into Bedrock for inference like any other Bedrock model.
