A New Dale Chihuly Exhibit Is Coming to Maker's Mark
Briefly

Dale Chihuly has been creating sculptural art with glass for decades, with installations globally, including Loretto, Kentucky, home to Maker's Mark. A new exhibition titled Chihuly x Maker's Mark at Star Hill Farm will showcase his work from now through December 7. Chihuly has previously displayed his art at the distillery, including 'The Spirit of the Maker' since 2014. The synergy between large-scale art and distillation processes is also seen in Art Basel 2024, where installations are planned inside local distilleries.
Chihuly's sculptures have turned up everywhere from New York City to Venice, showcasing his innovative and monumental approach to glass art.
The grounds of Star Hill Farm will host an art exhibition, Chihuly x Maker's Mark at Star Hill Farm, which will run through December 7.
Chihuly drew a lot of inspiration from the landscape and architecture of the campus, and is excited to respond to this special place.
At Art Basel in 2024, curator Stefanie Hessler situated several art exhibitions in existing buildings, including an installation by Ximena Garrido-Lecca inside a local distillery.
