Tottenham: Frank says Spurs 'lacked energy' in Bayern defeat
Briefly

Tottenham suffered a 4-0 defeat to Bayern Munich in their latest pre-season friendly. Harry Kane scored from the penalty spot, but Bayern's Kingsley Coman, Lennart Karl, and Jonah Kusi-Asare sealed a dominant victory. Manager Thomas Frank expressed no concern despite the loss, acknowledging the quality of Bayern as a strong team and emphasizing the need to learn from the game. Frank noted that his team lacked energy and highlighted the importance of preparation for their upcoming match against PSG, ensuring they will be ready with proper training sessions ahead.
We were obviously playing a very good team tonight. Bayern in my opinion are one of the teams that probably are favourites to win the Champions League, they hit a good level, we didn't hit a good level, that's a bad combination but we will definitely learn from this one.
Also it seems like we lacked some energy somehow which we need to find - no team can play without that energy.
We will 100 per cent be ready for that game, I'm not in doubt about that.
There are six days ahead, we have a normal week for the first time in the last two weeks so with everything - just getting down, less travel, energise them, three or four good sessions - then we will be ready against PSG.
