
A 22-year-old Arsenal supporter from north London celebrated the club’s first Premier League title since 2004. After sharing champagne outside the Emirates Stadium with Ian Wright, he and friends followed a rumour that Arsenal players were at the exclusive Tape nightclub in Mayfair. They paid an entry fee despite bouncers refusing confirmation, and quickly encountered Nicolas Jover, Arsenal’s set-piece coach. The supporter bought a costly table near a private room where most of the squad and manager Mikel Arteta celebrated. He saw Noni Madueke acting as the night’s MC and rapping for much of the evening, and he spoke with Myles Lewis-Skelly and Ethan Nwaneri, who had returned from a loan at Marseille.

His hunch was proved correct when they immediately bumped into Arsenal's set-piece coach, Nicolas Jover, the man credited with a pivotal role in the title success. I couldn't believe what was happening, Bull says. It's a very, very exclusive nightclub and we were the only Arsenal fans in there."
