Arsenal face an early transfer-window setback as potential targets appear to be moving elsewhere. Barcelona are considering an offer for Brazilian winger Gabriel Veneno, aged 16, with a possible fee up to 20m if Atletico Mineiro accept their asking price. Veneno has drawn comparisons to Neymar Jr and has been linked with Arsenal previously without a deal materializing. Arsenal were also reported to have an advantage for Anthony Gordon, with the player said to prefer a move to London. However, Gordon has traveled to Spotify Camp Nou for a medical ahead of a reported 69.3m move to LaLiga champions. Barcelona are also reported to be in talks with Atletico Madrid for striker Julian Alvarez.
