This change comes after legal victories that restrict Apple's control over app purchases. Spotify Premium subscribers can also buy additional listening hours. The move, which follows Spotify previously pulling its audiobook service from iOS in 2022, aims to reduce barriers for audiobook consumers and improve access for publishers and authors to new audiences.
