Gwyneth Paltrow's daughter Apple addresses school bullying claims
""Just a quick little message from myself," she wrote in a now-deleted Instagram story. "Hi! I didn't wanna respond, but this narrative is completely false and has gotten so out of hand. I have never been expelled from any school, especially not for bullying anyone. I completely understand ppl not liking me, and that is OK! The internet is a place where ppl can share their opinions.""
"Martin clarified that the rumour is "completely untrue", adding: "I am not that type of person, and anyone who is close to me knows that.""
Apple Martin denied claims that she was expelled from school for bullying, describing the rumour as completely false and saying she has never been expelled. The 21-year-old is the daughter of Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin and is studying at Vanderbilt University after graduating from Crossroads School in 2022. The rumour intensified after her debut at the Paris Le Bal des Débutantes in 2024 and after a clip appeared to show her upstaging another debutante. Unverified reports alleged an earlier expulsion from another LA high school, and a fellow debutante defended Martin against "mean girl" portrayals.
