In the June quarter, Apple expects that most iPhones sold in the US will be produced in India, while almost all iPads, Macs, Apple Watches, and AirPods will originate from Vietnam. Despite this shift, China remains the primary sourcing country for the majority of Apple's overall product sales globally. Tariff impacts are significant, with a base 20% IEEPA-related tariff and an additional 125% tariff on specific products, amounting to a potential cost of $900 million for Apple, assuming current tariffs remain unchanged.
For the June quarter, we do expect the majority of iPhones sold in the US will have India as their country of origin.
For us, that's some of our US AppleCare and accessories business, and brings the total rate in China for these products to at least 145 percent.
