"Today is the day that many of Apple's legions of iPhone fans look forward to most. It's Apple's annual iPhone event, in which the company unveils its new lineup of its iconic smartphone for the year ahead. Apple will begin its 2025 iPhone "Awe Dropping" event at 10 a.m. PT today, (Tuesday, September 9). But iPhones aren't the only product Apple is expected to unveil."
"The current iPhone model that Apple has eliminated from its lineup is the iPhone Plus model. It will be replaced with an all-new super-thin iPhone, many have dubbed the "iPhone Air." (The actual name remains unconfirmed at this time.) Apple will also introduce a new regular iPhone 17, a new iPhone 17 Pro, and a new iPhone 17 Pro Max."
The 2025 Apple event begins at 10 a.m. PT on Tuesday, September 9, and will present the new iPhone lineup for the year. Apple plans to introduce four new iPhone models while removing the iPhone Plus from its lineup and replacing it with an all-new super-thin model widely called the "iPhone Air." New flagship models expected include a regular iPhone 17, an iPhone 17 Pro, and an iPhone 17 Pro Max, although the numbering could change. Apple is also expected to refresh the Apple Watch Series 11, Apple Watch Ultra 3, and Apple Watch SE 3, with slightly larger displays and new health features, and to announce updates to AirPods.
