""Ankara is developing into one of MAN's central e-mobility hubs. Thanks to our flexible production structure, we can manufacture both various electric bus models and conventionally powered buses on the same production line.""
MAN has officially started producing electric buses at its new facility in Ankara, Turkey, adding to existing plants in Poland and South Africa. The Ankara plant will manufacture the Lion's City E and the Lion's Coach 14 E, the first fully electric coach from a European manufacturer. This expansion aims to enhance production capacities and meet increasing customer demands. The facility will serve as a central hub for MAN's e-mobility strategy, allowing for flexible production of various bus models.
