"These vehicles bring the total number of electric buses in Maribor to 14. The new units, each 9.5 meters long and 2.33 meters wide, are designed for agility and efficiency on narrow urban routes."
"The midibuses, offering full accessibility and capacity for up to 64 passengers, will operate on lines P7, P17, and P19-three routes now fully electrified and connected to the city's G5 and G6 lines. Together, they contribute to improving air quality and reducing the environmental footprint of Maribor's public transport network."
""This delivery marks another important step in our support for the city of Maribor in implementing a greener and more efficient transport system," said Giorgio Zino, Head of Iveco Bus Commercial Operations in Europe. "Our E-WAY model is designed to deliver high performance and meet the strictest environmental standards.""
Maribor has taken delivery of four 9.5-meter Iveco Bus E-Way midibuses, adding to two 12-meter Iveco vehicles delivered in 2022 and bringing the city's electric-bus fleet to 14. Each midibus measures 9.5 meters long and 2.33 meters wide, designed for agility and efficiency on narrow urban routes, with full accessibility and capacity for up to 64 passengers. The vehicles will operate on lines P7, P17 and P19, which are fully electrified and linked to lines G5 and G6. The additions aim to improve air quality and reduce the public transport network's environmental footprint. Iveco highlights the E-WAY's high performance and compliance with strict environmental standards.
