To unlock fast travel in Death Stranding 2, complete Order 12: Investigate Unusual Tar Currents Near F1, and defeat the Mecha BT boss.
Once the Mecha BT is defeated and you've engaged with key characters, the DHV Magellan's fast travel function becomes available for easier navigation.
Fast travel can only be accessed to locations that have been previously visited and connected to the Chiral Network.
