Tekauto is a newly established, Europe-based company presenting itself as the exclusive importer of Ankai buses and JAC Motors vehicles and is founded by Sergio Habib. Urbaneo will brand the Ankai buses for the European market and will debut the Urbaneo City 6 minibus and the Urbaneo Vista DD12 double-decker at Busworld 2025. Initial markets include France, Benelux, Germany, and Italy with local branches and service. The Urbaneo City 6 seats 22, is under six metres long, has a 127 kWh battery and up to 250 km range. The Vista DD12 offers battery options with 280–300 km range and already operated in Paris in 2024. A broader Urbaneo range and the Urbaneo Move service package for contracts, charging and fleet management will follow.
