"The Aircela Machine can produce fossil-free gas in real-time from air and water, utilizing renewable electricity and a regenerative sorbent for carbon capture."
"Designed like a honeycomb, the Aircela Machine effectively transforms air and water into gas without fossil inputs, promoting off-grid and distributed energy solutions."
The Aircela Machine, unveiled on May 20th, 2025, is an innovative technology that converts air and water into fossil-free gas for use in engines and vehicles. It operates on-site and in real-time without fossil fuel inputs, relying solely on air, water, and renewable electricity. Its honeycomb structure allows for off-grid and distributed applications. The machine captures carbon dioxide through a water-based potassium hydroxide solution, utilizing a wind tunnel-like chamber where air interacts with a sorbent. Finally, it combines captured carbon dioxide with hydrogen produced via electrolysis to create methanol, which is subsequently converted into gas through chemical processes.
