OSCIA unveils new leadership structure, appoints Julie Henderson as general manager

Cathline brings more than 20 years of experience in agricultural research and more than a decade of leadership in research program management, policy development, and governance. She has previously held senior roles at Niagara College's Horticultural and Environmental Sciences Innovation Centre and Vineland Research and Innovation Centre."

OSCIA appointed Julie Henderson as general manager, making her the primary link between the senior leadership team and the board. The organization replaced an executive director model with a collaborative senior leadership team to improve transparency, coordination, and responsiveness. The team will include Henderson and four department directors: Gabriella Visontai Perry (IT and shared services), Nicole Mackellar (member services and business development), Kimberley Cathline (research and knowledge transfer), and a director of Programs to be recruited. Cathline brings over 20 years of agricultural research experience and more than a decade in research program management, policy, and governance. The new structure aims to enhance member engagement, streamline program delivery, and support staff development.
