John (Jaffa) Hogan was found unresponsive at the scene of an incident in Nenagh, Co Tipperary, and later died in the hospital. He was highly regarded in the community, known for his involvement with the Toomevara GAA and the agricultural contracting sector. Residents expressed shock over his sudden passing. The Coroner has been informed, and a post-mortem will take place. Garda Forensic Collision Investigators preserved the scene for examination, and police are urging witnesses, especially those with dash-cam footage, to come forward to assist with the investigation.

Cllr Seamus Morris described Mr Hogan as a larger than life character and a big Toomevara GAA supporter involved in the agricultural contractor community.
The Coroner has been notified and a post-mortem examination will be arranged. Garda Forensic Collision Investigators are conducting a technical examination.
GardaĆ are appealing for witnesses and asking road users with camera footage from the Nenagh area between 9pm and 10.30pm on Wednesday, August 6 to come forward.
