"Supporting the next generation is crucial to the long-term success of our industry. The time, expertise and guidance that our mentors put in each year is second to none... (they play) an invaluable role in shaping the future leaders of the Canadian beef industry."
"Each year, CYL selects 16 participants aged 18 to 35 from across the country, pairing them with industry leaders for a nine-month mentorship focused on specific areas of interest. This year's mentor roster includes well-known industry names such as Burke Teichert, Josie Van Lent, Crystal Mackay, and John Masswohl, reflecting the depth and diversity of experience available to participants."
"Mentorship focus areas span a wide range, including risk management, markets, grazing management, genetics, policy, and digital communications, alongside other areas tied to the beef value chain."
