Celebrate Noon Year's Eve at the Cupertino Library
"Getting your Trinity Audio player ready... The Friends of the Cupertino Library are sponsoring a Noon Year's Eve Dance Party at the library for children of all ages and their families. The countdown to noon begins at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 31. The Cupertino Library is closing at 5 p.m. on New Year's Eve and will be closed on New Year's Day."
"The Santa Clara Valley Open Space Authority will present an update on the progress of its Agricultural Strategic Plan during a Jan. 20 webinar hosted by the Morgan Hill Chamber of Commerce. The authority is developing a strategy to define its role in supporting local agriculture. Anna Regalado, the authority's agricultural specialist, will share information about the goals of the plan and how input from the public and important stakeholdersincluding farmers, farmworkers and rancherswill influence the plan."
Noon Year's Eve Dance Party at Cupertino Library with a countdown starting 11:30 a.m. on Dec. 31; library closes at 5 p.m. that day and is closed Jan. 1. Voyagers Book Club (grades 3–4) meets Dec. 30, 2–3 p.m., to discuss Legendarios: The Beginning of All Things. Changemakers Book Club (grades 1–2) meets Jan. 2, 2–3 p.m., to discuss A to Z Animal Mysteries: The Emerald Egg and make a craft; pick up books at the children's desk. Santa Clara Valley Open Space Authority will present an update on its Agricultural Strategic Plan in a Jan. 20 webinar at 10 a.m.; Anna Regalado will outline goals and stakeholder input, followed by Q&A.
