This teen used coding to spread Catholicism. Will Pope Leo XIV make him the first millennial saint?
Briefly

Carlo Acutis, a 15-year-old from the UK, showcased remarkable faith and charity throughout his life. Scheduled for canonization during the Jubilee of Teenagers at the Vatican, his celebration was interrupted by the recent passing of Pope Francis. Acutis' mother described him as an ordinary child with an extraordinary faith, emphasizing his commitment to helping others reconnect with their faith. He utilized his skills in coding to spread messages about the Eucharist and lived a life devoted to God and serve others until his untimely death from leukemia in 2006.
Though his parents weren't especially devout at the time, Acutis prayed the rosary and helped bring his parents, friends, relatives and others back to the church.
He used to say, 'There are queues in front of a concert, in front of a football match, but I don't see these queues in front of the Blessed Sacrament.'
His goal was to help people understand that the Eucharist contained the real presence of God.
