Reports: Galatasaray send delegation to try convince Fofana and Milan - the latest
"Galatasaray seem to be serious about trying to sign Youssouf Fofana, even if the player doesn't currently appear open to the move. There is already a red hot axis between Milan and Istanbul, given that in the past few weeks Christopher Nkunku has been heavily linked with a move to join Fenerbahce. He has rejected their advances though, as their head coach Domenico Tedesco hinted at yesterday."
"As MilanPress write, Galatasaray sent a delegation to Milan to negotiate over several Serie A players. Among them is Youssouf Fofana, one of the midfielders that the management of the Turkish giants has high on their wish list. At the moment, however, the Frenchman's departure seems very unlikely. As reported by La Repubblica, Milan do not appear to be willing to sell the former Monaco man, who is a starter under Massimiliano Allegri and would therefore need replacing."
"As reported in today's Corriere della Sera, the player himself hasn't yet opened up to the idea of leaving the Rossoneri, where he still feels like he has a lot to prove after some tough outings this season. Galatasaray officials will try again in the coming days, but negotiations are still uphill. The team appear to be right behind Fofana, too."
Galatasaray sent a delegation to Milan to pursue several Serie A players, with Youssouf Fofana a priority target. AC Milan currently view Fofana as a starter under Massimiliano Allegri and do not appear willing to sell, making a move unlikely. The player has not shown openness to leaving the Rossoneri and feels he still has much to prove after difficult outings this season. Galatasaray officials plan to try again in the coming days despite uphill negotiations. Team-mates have shown visible support for Fofana following his late equaliser and subsequent involvement in attacking play.
