Victor Boniface confirmed that a proposed loan move to AC Milan collapsed after he failed a medical due to past knee injuries. The Nigeria international underwent knee surgeries in 2019 and 2020 and missed significant time last season with muscle problems. Boniface has scored 32 goals in 61 appearances for Bayer Leverkusen and played a key role in the 2023-24 Bundesliga title, contributing 21 goals and 10 assists across competitions. He remains under contract with Leverkusen until June 2028 and has not featured for his club this season while seeking a move away. Milan instead signed Sporting CP forward Conrad Harder for a reported €27m after the collapse.
The move didn't work out because of my past injuries,
I had a knee injury twice on my right leg, and it has been there for a long time.
Try to make it to my level before you insult me.
