PM: Internal conflict at Milan over striker signing - the stance of Tare, Allegri and Furlani
"PianetaMilan are reporting that Igli Tare is in talks with Pini Zahavi, the agent of Robert Lewandowski, about a potential free transfer next summer. The Albanian director is also following Massimiliano Allegri's idea for January and is maintaining close contact with Darko Ristić, the agent of Dušan Vlahović."
"The Serbian striker could arrive for less than €15m as a transfer fee in the winter. With a net salary of €5m for this second half of the season and a little more (€6-6.5m) from next season, the former Fiorentina player could even say yes, even if there will be strong competition. Not everyone is convinced of investing in Vlahović, though. Quite the opposite. The owners would prefer not to go after a player with such a high salary."
"RedBird Capital would not might spending an even higher price tag (€25m or more, as seen with Christopher Nkunku) on a striker, but certainly one with a much lower salary. In short, someone who can potentially be sold for higher figures, with a view to getting yet another capital gain. CEO Giorgio Furlani, for example, would prefer a signing like Nicolò Tresoldi from Club Brugge."
Milan evaluated many centre-forwards over the summer and early 2025-26 performances clarified successes and failures. Igli Tare is reportedly talking with Pini Zahavi about Robert Lewandowski while also maintaining contact with Darko Ristić over Dušan Vlahović. Vlahović could cost under €15m with a net salary near €5m for the remainder of the season and €6–6.5m thereafter, though competition exists. Owners prefer avoiding high-salary signings and favor younger targets who fit wage parameters and offer potential capital gains. RedBird accepts higher fees but prioritizes lower wages and sellable prospects like Nicolò Tresoldi.
