Official: AC Milan confirm permanent transfer of Futuro defender Vittorio Magni
"AC Milan, this afternoon, have confirmed that Vittorio Magni has left the club permanently to join Serie B side Cesena, where he was already on loan. Magni left Milan in the middle of August, seeking more game time, so he headed to Cesena in the second tier. However, he has not really found much space in the team, playing only seven times so far this season."
"Despite this, the Northern club have activated the option to buy, which was included in his loan contract when he left in the summer. Initially, there was no talk of the deal being possibly permanent, with the Rossoneri hoping to see him develop. In fact, there had even been some comparisons to Mattia De Sciglio, due to his versatility. However, this is, of course, no longer the case."
AC Milan confirmed the permanent sale of Vittorio Magni to Serie B side Cesena, where he had been on loan. Magni moved in mid-August seeking more game time but managed only seven appearances this season. Cesena activated the purchase option that was included in the loan contract. Milan initially expected Magni to develop while on loan and had compared his versatility to Mattia De Sciglio, but those plans did not materialize. The club issued a statement wishing Magni success for the sports season. The 19-year-old made 106 appearances across Milan youth teams and featured 17 times for Milan Futuro last season.
