Milan Futuro 1-0 Breno: Sardo and Traore lead the way for Oddo's side
"Milan Futuro returned to winning ways against Breno this afternoon, largely thanks to the performances of Jacopo Sardo and Chaka Traore. After the defeat last time out, Massimo Oddo headed into today's game under some pressure to turn things around, having fallen further away from the promotion play-offs. Luckily, Oddo's men started the game really well, coming close already after 9 minutes as Berkay Karaca fired a shot away from a good position."
"It was saved by the keeper, but it certainly fueled the Rossoneri, who continued to apply pressure on their opponents after that. In the 30th minute, the new signing Jacopo Sardo ran with the ball to the edge of the box, firing a shot away. It was straight at the keeper, but a poor intervention resulted in Emanuele Sala getting to the rebound before being brought down by the keeper."
Milan Futuro returned to winning ways with a victory over Breno thanks largely to Jacopo Sardo and Chaka Traore. The team started strongly, with Berkay Karaca testing the goalkeeper after nine minutes. In the 30th minute Sardo drove to the edge of the box and his shot led to a rebound where Emanuele Sala was fouled. Chaka Traore converted the resulting penalty with calm precision. Sardo later had a header cleared off the line and Simone Lontani also created chances. Milan defended their lead in the second half and moved up to fourth with 38 points, inside the play-off places.
