"After just three weeks, I got injured, and it was crucial for me to have warm people around me who supported me during that period. Yes, the important thing was to stay focused and remember the club you're playing for. In my case, AC Milan was a dream. I arrived at this club, and while I was injured, I focused solely on getting back to fitness, which is far from easy because an injury is only the first phase: the second is getting back to your previous physical level."
"But I think, in that sense, it went really well. Also thanks to the staff and, of course, my teammates: seeing them train every day without being able to work with them was difficult. However, in hindsight, looking back, I've learned to appreciate that period too, because it's an experience that, in a career, is almost impossible not to have. That's why I'm really happy to be back with the team."
Ardon Jashari moved to AC Milan from Club Brugge in a deal worth over €30m after a summer transfer tug-of-war. He fractured his leg in training three weeks after arriving and missed nearly three months while focusing on rehabilitation. Support from staff and teammates helped him through the recovery and he concentrated on returning to his previous physical level. Recent starts show improving form, notably in the regista role against Lecce, where he looked sharp after training with Luka Modric. Jashari is determined to reach 100% fitness and embraces the injury as a learning experience.
