"It seems that the fixture will, as scheduled to, take place at San Siro. However, it cannot take place on the weekend of February 7-8, which started this debacle off. Instead, the game will take place on either the 17th of February or the 24th, depending on when Inter could play at San Siro for the Champions League. Should the Nerazzurri require its use on the 17th (which is the preferred date), then the Como game will be pushed back a week."

San Siro's unavailability raised the possibility that AC Milan would play Como abroad, with Perth, Australia emerging as a concrete option. UEFA agreed to permit the fixture to be staged elsewhere, and plans advanced toward arranging the match in Perth. Those overseas plans were cancelled yesterday after confirmations failed to materialize. The fixture is now expected to be held at San Siro. The match cannot be played on the weekend of February 7-8 and will instead be scheduled either on February 17 or February 24 depending on whether Inter requires San Siro for its Champions League fixture.
