GdS: 73,000 and counting - Milan expected to end 2025 with a sell-out at San Siro
"AC Milan will play their final league game of 2025 on Sunday against Hellas Verona, and will again be backed by a bumper crowd. According to La Gazzetta dello Sport (seen below), San Siro will again be sold out again on December 28th in the final Serie A match of the calendar year for Milan. Hellas Verona fans aren't going on vacation, and instead prefer a trip to the Meazza to bring in the new year."
"When counting season ticket holders and purchased tickets, the 73,000 mark has already been surpassed, with the meter still running. This means the possibility/certainty that the number will rise further in the coming hours. Since the start of the season, only one attendance at San Siro has been less than 70,000: for the match against Bologna. Naturally, the Curva Sud will be there to cheer on the team."
AC Milan will host Hellas Verona at San Siro on December 28 for its final Serie A match of the calendar year. The stadium is expected to sell out, with season ticket holders and purchased tickets already surpassing 73,000 and counts still rising. Season attendance has consistently exceeded 70,000 except for the Bologna match. Curva Sud will be present to support the team. Away-ticket sales are restricted for residents of the province of Verona without a 'Cuore Rossonero' membership, while certain Verona loyalty-card holders living outside the province can still buy tickets. Prefect Sgaraglia imposed the restriction for public order. Fondazione Milan will invite 3,600 children and young people under the 'Milan for All' initiative, and special access for people with disabilities and social associations continues at home matches.
