Duo steal the show while trio struggle: Player ratings for Torino-Milan from Italian papers
"AC Milan had to come from two goals down to claim a win against Torino and move back top, but that is exactly what they did. Torino took a two-goal lead inside 20 minutes thanks to a Vlašić penalty and Zapata's goal, but Adrien Rabiot scored his first goal for Milan to quickly halve the deficit, and it was an absolute screamer from about 30 yards out."
"This morning's edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport (seen below) has their ratings from the game, starting with the overall performance and Massimiliano Allegri's management (from the stands due to suspension), both of which earned a score of 7 out of 10. The best rating went to Pulisic (8) naturally for his heroics off the bench while still being far from 100%. Christopher Nkunku struggled to get into the game once again, and got a 5."
AC Milan fell two goals behind to Torino inside 20 minutes after a Vlašić penalty and a Zapata strike. Adrien Rabiot pulled a goal back with a 30-yard screamer to reduce the deficit before Christian Pulisic came off the bench and scored twice in ten minutes to complete the turnaround. Massimiliano Allegri was suspended and observed from the stands as Milan secured three points. La Gazzetta dello Sport awarded Allegri and the team a 7, gave Pulisic an 8 and Rabiot a 7.5. Corriere dello Sport and Tuttosport issued similar player ratings and praise for Pulisic.
