CM: Four strikers Milan could possibly evaluate in January - Dovbyk to Zirkzee
"AC Milan might have to reinforce their attack in the January transfer window, still waiting on the first goal from their strikers, and there are some names they could make a move for. Yesterday's 2-2 draw against Pisa certainly highlighted Milan's lack of an in-form striker. Santiago Gimenez started alongside Rafael Leao in attack but, truth be told, we barely saw anything from the Mexican."
"According to Calciomercato.com earlier today, taking stock of the situation in attack, there are a few 'ready' names that Milan perhaps could take a look at in January: Artem Dovbyk (Roma), Dusan Vlahovic (Juventus), Joshua Zirkzee (Man Utd) and Serhou Guirassy (Dortmund). The latter seems very unlikely, as he has started the season well with Dortmund, but the others are certainly doable."
Milan's forwards have yet to score in Serie A this season, leaving the attack without an in-form striker. Santiago Gimenez started against Pisa but produced little impact and remains on zero Serie A goals. Christopher Nkunku also has zero goals and has featured less. The club may seek a January reinforcement to address goal drought. Potential targets include Artem Dovbyk, Dusan Vlahovic, Joshua Zirkzee and Serhou Guirassy. Guirassy appears unlikely due to strong form at Dortmund. Dovbyk has struggled at Roma, Vlahovic's contract expires in the summer, and Zirkzee has played just 82 minutes for Manchester United, making a loan more feasible.
