CM: Back with Abate, back to scoring - Zeroli hoping for spark with Milan ambition still there
"Kevin Zeroli was one of the most talked about talents in AC Milan's youth sector, yet the past couple of years have been strange. As Calciomercato.com write, the hope is that Zeroli's rebirth came in the 50th minute of the match against Padova last night. He scored his first goal for Juve Stabia, as well as his first professional goal in the second division, having been sent on loan there in the winter window."
"Zeroli is part of a group who have come through the Milan Primavera and who, in their own time, are establishing themselves in the Italian football scene. He is alongside the likes of Francesco Camarda, Christian Comotto and Davide Bartesaghi, the latter of whom is a starter for the first team. All played in a team that were captained by Zeroli himself for large stretches. Thanks to his leadership but also his penalties, Zeroli and co. reached the UEFA Youth League final, which they then unfortunately lost to Olympiacos."
Kevin Zeroli scored his first professional Serie B goal for Juve Stabia after a winter loan, with the strike arriving in the 50th minute against Padova. He progressed through AC Milan's Primavera, captaining a group that included Francesco Camarda, Christian Comotto and Davide Bartesaghi, and helped the team reach the UEFA Youth League final. Zeroli made limited first-team appearances for Milan before consecutive loans to Monza, the second of which ended early due to lack of minutes. The move to Juve Stabia reunited him with mentor Ignazio Abate, increased his playing time, and offers a pathway back to Milan's first team under Massimiliano Allegri.
