Allegri sees plenty of scope for improvement from Nkunku despite Milan double - Soccer News
""50 - Since his debut in #SerieA (2023/24) Christian #Pulisic is only one of the two players to have been directly involved in at least 50 goals in the top-flight (31 goals, 19 assists for him), along with Lautaro Martínez (53). Unstoppable.#milanhellas pic.twitter.com/lPgoqbhv3u""
""At the moment, it looks like the Scudetto will be won on somewhere between 82 and 84 points. It could become 86 if a team has a good run, I don't know. For us, it was important to win today and against a frustrating team who have a lot of speed. We finally beat a smaller side at home.""
""He broke his duck today and then after the penalty, scored a goal that was in his DNA. I think he can continue to improve like everyone else.""
Christopher Nkunku scored his first Serie A goals, converting a 48th-minute penalty and adding a close-range finish as AC Milan beat Verona 3-0. Christian Pulisic opened the scoring in first-half stoppage time. Nkunku joined Milan from Chelsea in the summer and recorded his first multi-goal match since November 2024 and first league multi-goal since May 2023. The win kept pressure on Inter and Napoli in the Scudetto race. Massimiliano Allegri praised Nkunku and said the team can continue to improve. Allegri estimated the title will require roughly 82–84 points, possibly 86 with a strong run.
