AC Milan lost at home to Cagliari, failing to secure a Champions League place despite entering the match needing only a win. The defeat, combined with other results, left Milan in sixth instead of fourth, forcing them into the Europa League. Massimiliano Allegri said the outcome cannot be changed and that Milan’s home record justified their final position.
