AC Milan have reached personal terms with Christopher Nkunku on a five-year deal and are negotiating with Chelsea to finalize a transfer before the transfer window closes. The club intensified efforts after other targets stalled; a proposed loan for Victor Boniface with an option to buy collapsed over concerns about his past injuries. Previous approaches for Darwin Núñez failed as he moved to Saudi Arabia, and Rasmus Højlund appears set for Napoli. Nkunku is unhappy with his role at Chelsea, starting nine Premier League matches and making 18 substitute appearances in 2024/25.
AC Milan have stepped up their efforts to sign Christopher Nkunku from Chelsea in the final days of the transfer window, and according to Fabrizio Romano, they've already reached an agreement with the French forward on personal terms. The talks between the clubs are ongoing in the hope of a total agreement being reached on time. Milan were very close to completing the signing of Victor Boniface from Bayer Leverkusen on loan with an option to buy.
Meanwhile, Nkunku appears unhappy with his role under Enzo Maresca at Chelsea. In 2024/25, he started just nine Premier League matches and made further 18 appearances of the bench. 🚨🔴⚫️ Christopher Nkunku and AC Milan, the agreement on five year deal is done as revealed.
