Milan had big moments, with Matteo Gabbia hitting the woodwork twice and Niclas Fullkrug nearly scoring before the break. Milan registered 32 shots and 2.34 expected goals to Genoa's seven attempts and 1.32 xG. Genoa have missed three of four Serie A penalties this season.
