El Paso's housing market shows rising prices and longer selling times, providing buyers with more options and time to make decisions.
Hazardous conditions along the US southern border have prompted health officials to warn Americans to stay indoors with the windows shut. The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has issued its highest level of alert about the air quality over Texas and New Mexico, calling the pollutants currently in the air over a 150-mile swath of land 'hazardous' to human health.
A notice to pilots classified the area as "national defense airspace," and warned that deadly force may be used against aircraft violating the restriction, standard language for such designations. What they're saying: "All flights to and from El Paso are grounded, including commercial, cargo and general aviation," El Paso International Airport posted on Facebook early Wednesday. "Travelers should contact their airlines to get most up-to-date flight status information."
More than 100,000 residents in the Texas border city of El Paso were left with little to no water after a main break over the weekend, and it was expected to take till midweek for operations to return to normal, officials said. The break in the 36-inch water main line happened late Saturday night in El Paso, which has a population of about 700,000, officials said.
